Login through Digital Access

Log in using your Digital Access credentials (digital certificate or Cl@ve) at the official Electronic Registry portal: https://reg.redsara.es/

Prepare Your Document PDF Files

Before accessing the registry, ensure you have all the following documents ready in PDF format:

• (i) Your ID: A copy of your valid DNI or NIE.
• (ii) Your Medical Certificate: A scanned copy of your medical fitness report.
• (iii) Proof of Payment: The downloaded/saved page of the tasa (the receipt document validating the **€94.05** payment for Tasa 2.1).
• (iv) The Official Application Form: You need to download the application form from the official DGT website (SOLICITUD DE PRUEBAS DE APTITUD) and fill it out. We have provided a sample showing how to fill out the form: Mod.04-ES EXAMPLE.

Submit Registration Details

Once your documents are ready, access the Registry (Registro Electrónico) and log in to start a new registration. Fill in your personal details, and configure the fields as follows:

• Datos del organismo o entidad: Select Administración del Estado (State Administration) and search by name or code. If you reside in Madrid, select Jefatura Provincial de Tráfico de Madrid (otherwise search for your local traffic office).

  ⚠️ Selection of the correct local traffic headquarter is critical, as your application goes directly to that office.

• Asunto (Subject):
  Solicitud presentación pruebas de aptitud (por libre) para examen teórico de conducir
• Expone (Declare):
  Que deseo presentarme a las pruebas de aptitud relativas para la obtencion del permiso de conduccion por libre. Para ello, adjunto la solicitud debidamente cumplimentada, la fotocopia de solicitud de presentacion en vigor y el justificante de pago correspondiente a la Tasa 2.1.
• Solicita (Request):
  Solicito que se realice la documentacion adjunta, se tramite mi solicitud como candidato por libre para el examen teorico de conduccion, y se me notifique la fecha, hora y lugar asignados para la realizacion de dicha prueba en la Jefatura Provincial de Trafico de Madrid.

Upload & Sign

Upload all the prepared documents from Step 2, review all inputs for accuracy, and proceed to the final digital signature.

Wait for Exam Date Email

Once submitted, wait for the email notification detailing your assigned exam date, time, and center. In the meantime, keep practicing DGT exams using your lifetime subscription tests!
